Lacey began her violin studies at the age of four, studying intensely in her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah where she toured with the Rocky Mountain Strings and placed in various state classical music competitions. She entered the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music on scholarship in 2005 where she studied with Margaret Batjer, concertmaster of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and world-renowned soloist, Hagai Shaham. Lacey received her Bachelors in Music in violin performance from USC in May of 2009 while spending her summers home subbing for the Utah Symphony. Post-graduation, Lacey has enjoyed teaching violin to students from the ages of 3-18 in both private and group settings.
