Yawen Hsu

Dr. Yawen Hsu is a professional cello teacher. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Michigan State University. Before coming to the states, she served full-time in the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra and lectured at Formosa University in Taiwan. 

Yawen was the Principal Cellist of the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra while in Michigan. She has performed many solo and chamber recitals in Taiwan, France, Canada, and the United States. Yawen resides in Monrovia and spends equal amount of time in teaching and performing.
